PRIVACY POLICY

Void Ascent is a single-player arcade game available on the web and as an iOS app. It does not require an account, and we collect as little data as possible. This page explains what is collected and why.
LEADERBOARD
If your score qualifies for the global top-10 leaderboard and you choose to submit it, we store the display name you enter (up to a few characters, filtered for profanity) and your score. Nothing else is attached to the entry — no email, device ID, or account. Do not enter personal information as your display name. Leaderboard submissions are rate-limited by IP address; IP addresses are used only for abuse prevention and are not stored with your entry.
ADVERTISING
The game is supported by ads served by Google:
- iOS app: Google AdMob shows a banner on the hangar / main menu, an occasional interstitial after later game overs (never during play, never after a victory), and optional rewarded videos if you choose to continue a run or start with an extra Nova charge. On iOS you will be asked via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt whether ads may use your device's advertising identifier. If you decline, you still get ads — they are just not personalised.
- Web: Google AdSense may show a banner on menu screens. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads.
Google's use of advertising data is described in Google's advertising policies. You can opt out of personalised ads via your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking) or Google Ad Settings on the web.
LOCAL STORAGE
Preferences such as mute and haptics are stored locally on your device
(browser localStorage) and never leave it.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
- No accounts, sign-ins, or profiles.
- No analytics SDKs or behavioural tracking of gameplay.
- No selling of personal data.
- No data collection from children beyond the above; the game is not directed at children under 13.
